Project Management System
This web portal is a part of Tatvasoft in-house management system. In need of merging all the inventory and management tool to SSO web portal, we converted The Project Management System in MVC architecture with C# from old VB.Net desktop application which serves as a task manager, project development tracker, resource manager, SDLC meetings and reminders.
My responsibilities were:
- Developed SQL scripts to convert and reformat old data and save it into the new database structure using Microsoft SQL server.
- Helped to develop a task assignment module using MVC architecture in C# language which can work based on Agile software development methodology.
- Developed drag and drop tool using jQUery plugin to create, assign and divide the task from uploaded documents.
- Worked on developing a notification system which can notify future meetings, task deadline, upcoming events, invitees etc
