Insurance Claim Prediction
The implementation of a Machine Learning algorithm to predict the future insurance claim was a part of my education program practice during my graduate studies at Wayne State University, MI. It was a real-time open competition organised by Porto Seguro Brazilian insurance company on Keggle website.
My responsibilities were:
- Understand and analyze the historical insurance data gathered in the past 12 years by Porto Seguro
- Clean up the data using different preprocessing techniques like SVD, null value removal, replacing null value with moving average etc
- Implement classification algorithms to improve prediction results
- Represents the result and preprocessed data using different graphs created using matplot python library
- Create a presentation and a project report to explain my implementation methods and result from analysis.
